The Galli Prevention Theater produces plays on behalf of schools, institutes, museums, government institutions, organizations, and international NGOs.  We have customized plays on the topics of AIDS and drug prevention, integration, obesity, nutrition, waste prevention, anti-smoking, anti-violence, Jewish-German reconciliation, traffic safety, sexual education, language learning through theater, etc.  Our strength is that we can usually develop a play to suit any topic!

In addition to workshops and training, Galli also ties in effective educational packets.  Galli plays are staged very simply and rely on the enthusiasm of the actors, effective music, and movement.  All of the actors are flexible, and therefore the plays can be easily adapted to all circumstances.  Flexibility, quickness, originality, and creativity are our trademarks!  Our productions are modern and uncomplicated. 



Simple costumes and a great emphasis on physical expression ought to inspire students to perform themselves.  We also perform all of our plays in English as a form of creative language instruction in schools, language schools, and other institutions.

The Galli Prevention Theater is an interactive theater form, directed above all at children and young people.  This target group should learn to overcome conflicts through free and spontaneous performance.

 
The Prevention Theater is made up of two parts: In the first part, the children or adolescents are introduced to the problem (for instance drug addiction, alcohol addiction, eating disorders, waste prevention, bullying, violence, abuse, etc.) by means of an appropriate and appealing play.  In the second part, the children or adolescents are called upon to act out their own solution to the conflict under the direction of experienced pedagogues.  Our strength is that we can develop a play to address almost any topic.  If you are looking for a prevention play for a specific occasion or on a particular topic that does not appear in our list, we will create a play to suit your needs.

Against Addiction:
Earlier and more frequently than ever children and adolescents are turning to addictive drugs, be they everyday drugs such as television, Playstation, or candy, or hard drugs.  Through interactive theater, the Galli Prevention Theater helps to make young people aware of the dangers of addiction and indicate the paths to overcoming addiction.  


For Health:
More and more children and adolescents are suffering under our society’s diseases of civilization, such as obesity, Diabetes, or bulimia.  The Galli Prevention Theater demonstrates a playful and lively path to physical, mental, and emotional health.  



For the Environment:

Our relationship to the environment is always a central theme.  Through its plays, the Galli Prevention Theater helps develop an awareness of a healthy environment.  Workshops according to the Galli method® (prevention):  All prevention plays can of course be combined with workshops to deal intensively with a particular topic.


A workshop can also be conduced alone.  All workshops according to the Galli method aim for participants to experience different roles and attempt new roles, thereby learning to change roles consciously.  In this way participants will learn to develop their creativity and to channel their strength.  Expression games, movement games, acting out scenes, dance meditation, and improvisation are wonderful modules with which we can individually cater to each particular group.  Moreover we offer special training programs for teachers to learn how to further mentor students.

The type-model of the Seven Kellerkinder, clowns, fairy tales, myths, and body language are modules that can be selectively employed.

Johannes Galli has written a book corresponding to each of the aforementioned themes, published by the Galli Publishing International.  

We also conduct training for teachers and staff.
